Departed this life November 20th, 2020. Ms. Janet Hicks, age 47, of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Latrice Hicks; four sisters, Diane Simpson, Arlene Simpson, Antoinette Smith and Valerie Hicks; two brothers, Benjamin Thornton and Jermaine Hicks; one aunt, Rubie Hicks; one uncle, Ozela Hicks(Rubie); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law, Sharon Hicks; and other relatives among them a devoted Herbert Venable and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Ms. Hicks can be viewed Sunday from 11AM to 5:30PM. Funeral services will be private but may be viewed on the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home website. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
