Jean Page Hill Garrett

Departed this life July 6th, 2023. Mrs. Jean H. Garrett, age 80, of Richmond. She is preceded death by her husband, Rev. Marshall H. Garrett. She is survived by two daughters, Paula Garrett and Korri Williams(Charles); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two brothers- in- law, Paul C. Garrett and Russell K.(Alethia) Garrett; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Thursday from 10AM to 8PM. There will be an “Ivy Beyond the Wall” Ceremony on Thursday also at 6:30PM at funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street Friday at 11AM where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Alonza Lawrence(pastor) officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
