Departed this life March 5th, 2023. Mrs. Jennie T. Green, age 81, of Richmond. To cherish fond memories of her, she leaves a beloved and devoted husband of 50 years, Jacob Green Jr.; a sister, Linda W. Jones; a niece, Eva Renee Nash; and other relatives and friends among them her goddaughters, Germma Pope-Whitfield, Deidre Harris, Adrianne Mack, Elizabeth Parrish & Kennedi Davis; devoted friends, Frances Pope & Terri Harris and her loving neighbor, Sondra Lee. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home where Mrs. Green can be viewed Saturday and Sunday both from 11:30AM to 5:30PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, 2712 Second Avenue 10AM Monday. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 9:45AM Monday. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church Centennial fund.
