Jermaine "Toine" Antoine Avent Sr. departed for glory Monday June 26, 2023, after 45 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy L. Avent. Jermaine leaves his father, Charles L. Avent, his 3 sons, Jalen Ralls, Jamel Hall, and Jermaine Avent, Jr., his 2 daughters, Jermani White and Shaniya Avent, three sisters, Travonna Kenyear (Byron), Carolyn Neal (Jeffrey), and Michele Avent; his brother,  Sabian Avent; four grandchildren, a special friend, Keisha Long, his nieces and nephews and a host of close family and friends to cherish his memory. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday July 3, 2023 at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.
