Jerome Shimon Cyrill departed this life on Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Jackie Lee and Edwards Cyrill. Jerome grew up in Brooklyn, later moving to Richmond VA, where he attended Thomas Jefferson High School. There he met his high school sweetheart, Ashley Jenkins, on March 3, 2006. They became a couple. They soon found out they were starting their own family. As time grew, they had five children together. He loved being a father and fiancé. Jerome’s favorite word to his mother were, “Mom don’t worry, God got me.

Jerome loved to rap, build, and fix things. He was also a fussy box especially when he didn’t get what he wanted. Jerome spent his days making sure others were happy. He was a brother who would give you the shirt off his back. He wore his heart on his sleeve for anyone he loved. He was a genuine person inside and out.

He was preceded in death, just one year ago by his older brother Edward Cyrill Jr., known as “Baby Eddie. He leaves behind his life partner, Ashley Jenkins and five children, Nekia, Shimon, Kimoni, Khamauri, and Jerome Jr.; five siblings, Bryan Lee, Michael Cyrill (Diana), Terrence Cyrill (Trenae)Cydell Williams, and Shanell Allen; two close brothers, Hash and Arthur Brown; a special sister, Ebonee; aunt and uncles; nieces and nephews; a bunch of cousins; and plenty of friends.
