Joan Louise Alford

Mrs. Joan Louise Alford, age 87, of Richmond, departed this life May on 26, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Alford; one daughter, Diane Stroble; and one grandson, Lawrence Bryce Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Joanna Bryce (Larry) and Robin Harris; one son, Jeffrey Harris (Wanda); six grandchildren, Brandon Marshall, Keyana Garrett, Tiffany Bryce, Jennifer Bridy, Shavon Knight and Lorenzo Harris; sixteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Hall; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends. 

Memorial services will be held at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, on Saturday June 6, 2026, at 1:00pm. Deacon Ricardo Henderson, Officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm Saturday.
