Departed this life July 23rd, 2021. John Jasper Smyre, age 66, of Richmond. He is survived by three daughters, Laketa Wright, and Caprisha & Kierra Glenn; one grandson, Siyon Lancaster; two sisters, Bessie Lewis and Mozelle Floyd(Barthel); four brothers, Ronald(Patrice), William(Marguerita), Warren, and Kevin Smyre; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them a god daughter Tamika Fortune. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Rev. Bobbie Johnson off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Wednesday.
