Johnnie Smith Jr. of Richmond, departed this life on September 28, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Jill Smith; two daughters, Charmaine Smith and Kisha Smith Robinson; son Johnnie Smith  a host of grandchildren; one sister, Cynthia Smith; one brother, Alphonso Jones Sr. (Deborah); nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Internment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Tuesday.
