Departed this life May 21st, 2022. Mrs. Julia Mae Johnson, age 95, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Johnson; one daughter, Saundra J. Person and one granddaughter, Shelly Washington-Marable. She is survived by one granddaughter, Jammie Person; two great-grandchildren, Tyee and Tyonna Washington; one sister, Phyllis Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Johnson can be viewed Monday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:30PM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 1:15PM Tuesday.
