Larnell Ruth Jones

Mrs. Larnell Ruth Jones, age 90, of Richmond, departed this life on November 1, 2025. She is preceded in death by one son, Clifton Jones. She is survived by two daughters, Deardria Henson (James) and Christine Nelson; two sons, Eldridge Jones and Darryl Jones; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Emma Goldman(Lloyd), PeNey Ampey and Marie Edwards; one aunt, Carey Bowers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn Jones; one sister-in-law, Derlene Pettus; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Jones can be viewed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown and Rev. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Interment, Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, Virginia. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 10:45am on Wednesday, at Fifth Baptist Church.
