Departed this life April 29th, 2024. LaRue Epps, age 77, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Iris Epps. He is survived by one daughter, Candace Epps-Robertson(Hunter); one son, David LaRue Epps; two grandchildren, Phoenix and Artemis Robertson; three sisters, Cheryl Epps, Marquess Armstong(Gregory) and Margo Epps; three brothers, Michael(Beverly), Mark and Keith Epps; one aunt, Esteletta Epps; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters- in- law, Sharon Harris(Ronnie) and Darryl Epps; brother- in- law ,Russell Anderson(Rose) and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral mass will be held Thursday 12 noon at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 823 Cathedral Place. Father Anthony Marques(rector). Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the cathedral 11:45AM Thursday.
