Leon Edward Morris

Departed this life February 6th, 2022. Leon E. Morris, age 82, of Boyds, Maryland, formerly of Powhatan, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Carol Morris; one daughter, Cathy Morris-Stewart(Lee); two sons, Vada Morris(Rizalina) and James Morris; four grandchildren; six sisters, Cynthia Epps, Edna Morris, Shirley Martin, Janet Morris, Maria Cosby(Lloyd), and Irma Fleming(Ralph); one brother, Lloyd Morris(Berlinda); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Morris can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday 1PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 2591 Ridge Road, Powhatan, Virginia 23139. Family and friends assemble at the cemetery 12:45PM Saturday.
