Luvenia L. Lester

Departed this life February 12th, 2023. Mrs. Luvenia L. Lester, age 91, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lester Sr., one daughter, Diane Williams; and two sons, Tyrone & Keith Lester. She is survived by one daughte,r Joanne Lester-Carey(Samuel); three sons, Herman Jr., Michael L.(Donna) and Gary(Charmaine) Lester; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; daughter- in- law, Sheilah Belle Lester; son- in- law, Jimmy Williams and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs Lester can be viewed Thursday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
