Ms. Martha Lois Mitchell, age 93, of Richmond, departed this life on June 23, 2025. She is survived by a host of nieces, among them a devoted, Laverne M. Powell; nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Ms. Mitchell can be viewed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00am. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Wednesday.
