Mary Louise Ruffin

Mrs. Mary Louise Ruffin, age 92, of Richmond, departed this life on October 31, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie H. Ruffin Jr., and two sons, Alvin R. Ruffin and Archie L. Ruffin. She is survived by one daughter, Emma Ruffin-Watson; one son, Albert Ruffin (Julinda); nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Powell and Dorothy Pair; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; daughter-in-law, Josephine Ruffin; one sister-in-law, Ella Mae Cook; two brothers-in-law, Atlas Ervin and Kenneth Ruffin (Louise); other relatives and friends.

 Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Ruffin can be viewed on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 1:00pm, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Carl Hamie, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Tuesday at 12:45pm.
