Departed this life on March 10, 2024. She is survived by two loving sons, Melvin Newton(Tanaka) and William Weaver; Five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Newton; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave where Mrs. Weaver can be viewed all day Sunday and Monday.and Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday at Fifth Baptist Church 1415 W. Cary Street. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the chapel 10:45AM Tuesday.
