Departed this life on April 21, 2025. Miss Melodie Marie Patterson, age 62 of Richmond. She is survived by two daughters, Sophia Lawrence (Tony) and Rosa Boone (Aaron); three grandsons, Joshua Waddy Jr. and McKennson & A'Mere Lawrence; a host of sisters, brothers; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends, among them her devoted companion, Timothy Everett. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and where funeral services will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 11:00am.
