Michael Lavar Harris

Michael Lavar Harris, age 47 Richmond, departed this life on December 29, 2025. He is preceded in death by one son, Lavaris Harris, and his mother, Anita Jones. He is survived by one daughter, Mykela Harris, one son, Michael (Milo) Harris; three grandchildren; his father, Michael Lee Jones; paternal grandmother, Bessie James; brothers, Orlando Harris Bryant Jones, Marcus Jones and Marquise Jones; two devoted aunts, Angela and Donna Jones; one uncle, Vernon Jones (Ava); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends, among them, Unique Bratton. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Harris can be viewed on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00am - 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00pm. Interment, private. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Saturday.
