Departed this life March 18th, 2024. Michael Lee Lester Sr., age 63, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Donna Lester; one daughter, Tiffanie McDonald(Sam); one son, Michael Lester Jr.(Brenna); three grandchildren, Noah & Sadie Lester and Sky McDonald; one sister, Joanne Lester-Carey(Samuel); two brothers, Herman Lester Jr. and Gary Lester(Charmaine); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four sisters- in- law, Victoria Morris, Michelle Jones, Sherrie Ogun and Sheilah Belle; two brothers- in- law, Gordon Jones and Jimmy Williams. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Lester can be viewed Sunday from 11am to 6pm and Monday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:30PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 1:15PM Tuesday.
