Michelle ‘Majieda’ Denise Miller, 62, died from health complications at her home on Saturday June 17, 2023 in Richmond, Virginia, surrounded by family members, friends and co-workers.
She graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, New Jersey, and moved to Newark and Trenton, NJ where she raised her daughters and then finally in 1999, she relocated to Richmond, Virginia where she passed away.
An all around genuine and loving socialite, Michelle cared for everyone that she came into contact with. Never one to turn away those in need, Michelle never failed to hold her hand out in support of those who needed help before the next leg of their journey. Michelle was An avid music fan, seamstress, and athlete. An active participant in local community festivals and organizations. She treated everyone like they were a part of her extended family and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
She is pre-deceased by her Father Charles Edward Miller Sr., a World War II, Tuskegee Airman Pilot of the United States Army Air Force in Tuskegee, Alabama.
Survivors are her Mother, Roberta, L Anderson-Miller, of Charlotte, North Carolina, two brothers Charles E Miller, Jr. (spouse Gwendolyn and daughter Helena) of Glenridge, New Jersey, and Jeffery S. Miller (son Jordan) of Charlotte North Carolina, two daughters
Tariqah Miller 2nd Class Petty Officer US Navy Washington DC (spouse Helena) and Alia Miller- Anderson of Houston, TX (spouse Dwayne Anderson). Four Grandchildren (Khayri Aziz, Kharria Kiset Rae, Khiaura Diamond Rae and Khiyonna Queen Khalia Anderson. Close family friend Shahidah Edwards. Cousins
