Mildred Irene Adams

Mildred, aged 96, passed away peacefully on 12/10/2023 in Atlanta, Ga. She departed this world surrounded by the love of family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.

Born on 9/2/1927 to Irene Booker Joseph and Joseph Henry Johnson, Mildred brought immense joy and positivity to all those fortunate enough to know her. Her life was characterized by God, joy, kindness, church choir, cafeteria staff, Queen beauty pageant, and devoted foster grandparent at Clark Springs elementary school.

Mildred was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, cousin, sibling, and friend whose compassion and generosity touched countless lives. She had a way of making everyone feel special, offering comfort, guidance, and unwavering support whenever needed.

She will be remembered for being the bingo queen, nail spa dates, crossword puzzles, ice cream dates, and enjoyment of watching football. That brought joy and inspiration to those around her. Her love for church and family was evident in her dedication and enthusiasm.

Throughout her life, Mildred treasured moments spent with family and friends. She was known for her favorite color blue, attending church, and going out to eat that brought laughter and light to every gathering.

The passing of Mildred has left a profound void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unconditional love, wisdom, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of others.

In Mildred, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that will continue to inspire and influence us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
