Monika Erika Patton

Monika Patton,57, departed this life on Saturday, April 26, 2025. A loving mother and friend, Ms. Patton was a native of Germany, who moved to the US in her twenties. She created a life built on serving others, as she worked in the hospitality industry for 25 years. She was a devoted team member and trainer for Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke and Richmond. In both cities, she cultivated many loving friendships that she cherished through the years. Most would describe her as the person you can always count on to be on time and ready to work hard every single shift.

Ms. Patton had a passion for gardening and gave her plants the same loving attention she provided to the people that grew to love her. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Colin (Corrina) and Thomas, both of Madison, WI; her brother, Lani; and many loyal friends, including Terrie Long, Stephen Pancham, and Dwayne Jackson. Services for Ms.Patton will be held at 10:30am on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, located at 2011 Grayland Ave in Richmond, VA.
