Mrs. Monique Rose-Colden, age 57, of Richmond, departed this life on January 19, 2026. She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Henry L. Rose III. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Colden Jr.; two sons, Geordan and Jayden Colden; her mother, Dr. Etta Rose; one brother, Henry L. Rose IV(Erica); three aunts, Carolyn Rose Franklin, Angelia Rose-Roots (Carroll) and Elnora Rose; one uncle, James Rose (Linda); nieces and nephews Kaydn, Quentin and Kayla Rose; sister-in-law, Deborah Colden; one brother-in-law, Jemal Colden; other relative and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Colden can be viewed on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where the Omega Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 9:30am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. Rev. Dr. Kimberly Ridley, Eulogist. Interment, Riverview Cemetery.
