Mrs. India Lee Gaskins

Mrs. India Lee Gaskins, age 91, of Richmond. departed this life on July 2, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gaskins Sr. and one daughter, Gloria Gaskins. She is survived by four daughters, Laverne Gaskins, Sylvia Hunter, Jamie Broady (Emmanuel) and Gayle Gaskins; one son, Robert Gaskins Jr. (Geraldine); five grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Vivian Thomas and Rossie Gardenhire; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Gaskins can be viewed on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 1:00pm. Rev. James Purnell, Officiating. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Tuesday.
