Muriel Virginia Johnson

Muriel Virginia Johnson, 90 of Richmond, VA passed away on May 31, 2023. She was born on August 28, 1932 to James and Anna Jones in Charles City, VA. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Valerie Johnson, devoted niece, Valerie Miles, parents and siblings. Her boundless generosity, kindness and faith were apparent to all she came in contact with. Muriel devoted her life to taking care of children. She is survived by brother, Carlton Jones, daughters, Muriel (Mikki) Pleasants(Greg), Lyvonne (Voni) Johnson, Shawnika Johnson(Tremaine) Tasha Johnson, grandchildren, Jamye Bree(Michael), Nia Pleasants(Ryan) Asa and Samiha Tucker, great grandchildren, Mikaela and Cillian Bree, devoted niece, Hortense Jones and devoted great niece, Cecelia (Lynn) Sheppard and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A celebration of life will be held Saturday June 10, 2023. Please contact the family for more information.
