Nannie "Arlene" Smith

Mrs. Arlene Smith, age 90, of Richmond, departed this life on March 31, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Smith, one daughter, Angela Kearney, and one son, Stanley Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Pansy Smith; two sons, William Michael Smith and Kevin Smith; four grandchildren, Kimberly Smith, Dallas Jackson, Latesha Lawrence and Dominique Lawrence; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Hayes (Frank); two brothers, Thomas Shaw and Daniel Shaw (Karen); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Kate Dixon; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Smith can be viewed on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00pm. Rev. James Hodges, Officiating. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Saturday.
