Pamela Brooks-Williams

Pamela Brooks-Williams, affectionately known as Pam, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on February 4, 1963, Pam will be remembered as a warm and vibrant woman whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and connection to those around her.

Pam was educated in Richmond Public Schools and went on to devote her working life to nursing and customer service. In both paths, she reflected the qualities that defined her so well: she was funny, outgoing, laid back, and genuinely friendly. As a true people person, Pam had a natural way of making others feel welcome and at ease, and her caring spirit touched many lives.

Outside of her work, Pam found joy in cooking and in bringing loved ones together for family gatherings. She cherished those moments of togetherness, creating memories around food, conversation, and laughter. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, a simple pleasure that added to the rhythm of her daily life and reflected her easygoing nature.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Green; her father, Samuel Cousins; her mother, Elizabeth Williams Saunders; devoted step father John Leroy Saunders, her sister, Sandra Williams; her brother, Lamont Williams; and her grandsons, Marqueil Ross and Kevon Custis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Brittany Brooks, Tiffany Brooks, and Lashonda Williams; her son, Richard Williams; sevon grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her devoted daughter-in-law, Monique Robinson; her sisters, Cheryl Williams, Deborah Williams, Shanie Taylor Dorsey, and Barbara Scott; and her step-sister, Tishelle Cosby and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. They, along with all who knew and loved her, will carry forward the memory of her kindness, her humor, and the welcoming spirit that made Pam so special.

Pamela Brooks-Williams will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her life was marked by care for others, enjoyment of family, and a personality that brightened the lives of those around her.
