Paris Kevona Shannon

Departed this life September 24th, 2024. Mrs. Paris Shannon, formerly of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Shawn Shannon; three children, Phazia Murray, Phazohn Sire and Patience Pugh; four grandchildren, Prai Massenburg, Priest Murray, Premier Pugh and Darion Lacey; mother, Pamela Bennett; maternal grandmother,  Deaconess Ernestine Bennett; four sisters, Stacey Dabney, Keshawn Stokes-Ward(Marcus), Keona Byrd and Kevisha Fuller; one brother, Phabien Bennett(TaCia); a host of aunts, uncles among them Tony Bennett and Gerry Sire, nieces, nephews and cousins; mother- in- law, Judy Shannon; one sister- in- law; Ebony Shannon; brother- in- law, David Shannon(Kimberly) and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Shannon can be viewed Sunday from 10AM to 6PM. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S. Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
