Phyllis Taylor

Ms. Phyllis Taylor, age 71, of Richmond, departed this life on August 28, 2026. She is preceded in death by one son, Terrence Taylor. She is survived by two grandsons, Baylor Conde (Jackie) and Kevin Riley (Alee); one great granddaughter, Carter Riley; two sisters, Carolyn Dolly (Alexander) and Deborah Jefferson; two brothers, Oscar Taylor (Mona) and Joseph Taylor; one aunt, Dorothy Black; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends, among them, her goddaughter, Brianna Willoughby, and a devoted friend, Tina Willoughby. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Ms. Taylor can be viewed on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:30am. Interment private. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:15am on Friday.
