Quamel Lamar Washington

Quamel Lamar Washington, affectionately known as "Que," passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 30. Quamel born on April 26, 1995, in Nassau County, New York. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose gentle demeanor and quiet strength left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A dedicated professional, Quamel's career spanned various fields, including construction, cooking, and business entrepreneurship. He was also the manager of a moving company, where he applied his strong work ethic and management skills. His education from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, NY, laid the foundation for his diverse career path.

Quamel had a profound love for his family and cherished the time spent with them. He enjoyed strong connections that were evident to all. His passion for music, especially hip hop, was a significant aspect of his personality, which was complemented by his interest in basketball. Whether it was enjoying a game with family or listening to his favorite tracks, Quamel's spirit shone brightly in everyday moments.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Alexis Gregory, and their two sons, Blaze and Storm. Quamel is also survived by his two stepdaughters, Kennedy and Kasey. The family will remember him fondly, as will his mother, and his sisters, Antonia and Lashenia, Shanele Washington, and Tamia Benjamin. Quamel's brothers, Antoine Thomas, Anthony Washington, Alrick Lewis Jr., and Tyrek Benjamin,  grandmother, Ida Thomas, mother in law Marcelia Gregory, father in law Joseph Toney, will also carry his memory forward.

The extended family includes eleven aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends, all of whom shared in Quamel's life and the love he radiated.

Quamel was predeceased by Jacqueline D. Thomas, whose memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

In celebration of Quamel’s life, a memorial service will be held on August 2, 2025, at No Limit Global in Midlothian, Virginia. The service will commence at 1:00 PM.

Quamel Lamar Washington will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of many.
