Departed this life November 6th, 2020. Rev. Ethel M. Murphy, age 81, of Chester. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Hopkins. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, William Murphy; two daughters, Peggy Peyton(Melvin Jr.) and  Angela Murphy; three sons, William T. Hopkins, Tyrone Hopkins and Larry Murphy(Melissa); ten grandchildren; a host great grandchildren; one aunt, Ora Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Girdell Turner and Dorothy Chandler;  and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Tuesday and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM. Dr. Kevin McGill off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Wednesday.
