Rev. Gloria Romonia Coleman

Rev. Gloria Coleman, age 88, of Richmond, departed this life on April 5, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Coleman, and one grandson, Kory Coleman. She is survived by three sons, Barry Coleman (Araminta), Wendell Coleman, and Henry Coleman; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a devoted sister-in-law, Mary Coleman; other relatives and friends, among them, a devoted, Margery Glover. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Rev. Coleman can be viewed on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Hood Temple A.M. E. Zion Church, 16W. Clay Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Joshua D. Holmes, Pastor. Dr. Kevin McGill, Eulogist. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:15am on Friday.
