Robert Fitzgerald Sr.

Departed this life April 21st, 2022. Robert L. Fitzgerald I, SFC(R), age 71, of Richmond. He retired from the United States Army. He is preceded in death by one son lstLt Almar LaRon Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife, Lula Lamb; three daughters, Chajuan(Halam), Jada and Jia Fitzgerald; three sons, Roderick Fitzgerald(Winn), Stanley Lamb II(Angel Kenion) and Robert Fitzgerald II(Dana Davenport); two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a host of cousins; two brothers- in- law, Alton Lamb and Timothy Lamb(Tracey); and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Tuesday May 10th from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday May 11th at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, 2712 Second Avenue. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Wednesday. In  lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to liberation veterans services located at 1201 Hull Street.
