Robert Elmore Jones

Departed this life January 20th, 2022. Robert Jones, age 79, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by two children, Kathy Blount and Reginald Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Alma Jones; one son, Robert Jones Jr.; three grandchildren; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Sylvester Jones and Richard Jones; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law, Marcella Jones(Carlton); one brother- in- law, Michael Russell(Marva); and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Mt. Herman Baptist Church, 2814 Moss Side Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Gregory Fisher pastor. Rev. Gene Woodson off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
