Robert J. Reed Sr.

Robert J. Reed Sr., age 89, of Richmond, departed this life on January 29, 2026. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Debra Prentiss and Sheila Battle. He is survived by four daughters, Carol Jones (Harry), Roberta McBride, Donna Robinson and Karen Hines (Wallace); one son, Robert J. Reed Jr. (Patrice); twenty grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one sister, Lily Jenkins; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00am. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Thursday.
