From an early age, Robert was a dedicated member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he found solace and community. He graduated from Armstrong High School, where his journey of learning and growth began.

Robert had an unwavering love for his family, particularly for his mother, Elsa Mae Williams-Belfield. He is survived by his loving siblings: two sisters, Linda Burnette and her husband Collin, and Barbara Howlett and her husband Alexander, along with his brother James Ernest Williams Jr. Additionally, he is cherished by three aunts, one uncle, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

A passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Robert delighted in watching the games and sharing the excitement with those he loved. He also had a deep appreciation for old school music, which often served as the backdrop for joyful moments in his life.

Robert's warmth and genuine desire to uplift others will long be remembered, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will resonate in the hearts of many. His spirit will continue to inspire those who had the honor of knowing him.
