Departed this life February 3rd, 2021. Ms. Samantha Deaon Ford, affectionately known as "Nookie" age 44, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Blanche E. Ford and brother, James M. Ford. She is survived by two daughters, Kwanza Wyatt and Kiondra Ford; three sons, Shawn Sr., Shakuan Sr.and Kion Ford; thirteen grandchildren; four aunts; one uncle; one niece, Jamesha Rucker; one great-niece and one great-nephew; a host of cousins among them Johnetta Wilkerson, Alice Rainey and John Wilkerson; the godmother of her children, Cassandra Freeman(Thomas) and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Ms. Ford can be viewed 10A to 6P Sunday and where funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The governor’s recommendation on social distancing will be applied.
