Sarah Dorothy Warden

Mrs. Sarah Brown Warden, age 81, of Richmond, formerly of Prospect, Virginia. departed this life on July 11, 2026. She is preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Brown Stringfield, and two brothers, Herman Lee Brown Jr. and Charlie Brown. She is survived by her devoted companion, William Jackson; three sisters, Mazell Brown Campbell, Marsha Diane Brown Grissette (Perty), and Marjie Brown Gardner (Thomas); two brothers, Nathaniel "Rick" Brown and Raefield "Michael" Brown (Doris); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Pearl Brown and Cindy Brown; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest a Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S. Addison Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs, Pastor, Rev. Dr Frank Branch III, Officiating, and Dr. Cavell Phillips, Eulogist. Interment, Calvary Baptist Church, in Prospect, Virginia.
