Departed this life November 14, 2023. She is survived by loving daughter, Melissa Coles(Lloyd F. Coles III); one grandson, Delray Coles; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave where Mrs. Payne can be viewed all day Sunday November 26 and where funeral services will be held 11AM Monday November 27. Rev. James Jackson officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the chapel 10:45AM Monday.
