Stuart Louis Blackwell Sr.

Stuart Louis Blackwell Sr., age 82, of Richmond, departed this life on July 17, 2026. He is preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle Blackwell. He is survived by three sons, Glenn Blackwell Sr. (Ellen), Larry Blackwell (Theresa) and Stuart Blackwell Jr (Tomika); eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one brother, William Henry Blackwell Jr. (Maude); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Irene Williams; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Blackwell can be viewed on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00am. Dr. Ricardo Brown, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Saturday.
