Tanya Renee' Chavis

Ms. Tanya Renee’ Chavis, age 58, of Richmond, departed this life on August 10, 2026. She is survived by two sons, Raishaud Chavis and Marshon Chavis; two sisters, Regina Chavis and Demetria Evans; a host of aunts, uncles among them devoted, William Paige, Thomas Keel and Keith Swinson; a devoted niece, Shakera Chavis, nephews, among them devoted, Dominic Chavis Sr. and cousins; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Ms. Chavis can be viewed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:00pm. Interment, private. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Friday.
