Departed this life March 9th, 2022. Mrs. Thelma C. Thornton, age 93, of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph V. Thornton. She is survived by her daughter, Bernetta Conway; son Edwin Shaw(Ellen); three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Thornton can be viewed Friday between 10AM and 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Saturday.
