Departed this life March 5th, 2022. Mrs. Thomasena R. Lowery, age 96, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George T. Lowery and one son, Javan Lowery. She is survived by two sons, Bill(Barbara) and Gregory Lowery; three granddaughters Monique Tutwiler, Chandra Allen and Erin Wilson(Ernest);   five great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Lowery can be viewed Wednesday, March 16th from 10AM to 8PM where funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17th, 2022 at 1PM. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Thursday.
