Tyrone Dillard

Tyrone Dillard, age 76, of Richmond, departed this life on May 24, 2026. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Brown. He is survived by his life partner, Gail Saunders; two daughters, Alethea Banner(Terrance), and Tayra Dillard; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a host of nieces, among them a devoted, Cheryl Harmon-Kowry; nephews, among them a devoted, Marrell Curtis; cousins; other relatives and friends, among them devoted brothers, Robert Lewis III, Arthur Williams Rowena), Vincent Muhammad, David Hawkes, Travis Turner and Michael Thompson.

Remans rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Dillard can be viewed on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at New Life Deliverance Tabernacle, 900 Decatur Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Robert Winfree, Pastor, officiating. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 12:45pm on Tuesday.
