Velda Lavonda Eldridge

Departed this life October 6th, 2023. Ms. Velda “Oppy” Eldridge, age 57, of Richmond.  She is survived by four children DeMario Eldridge, Ashley Eldridge, Di’Juan Sydnor and Aaliyah Eldridge; one grandson Di’Juan Sydnor Jr.; her mother Delores Eldridge; two sisters Cheryl Eldridge and Marcia Eldridge-Lewis(Marvin); one aunt Phyllis Ross(James); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue on Tuesday at 3PM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 2:45PM Tuesday.
