Veronica Laverne Archer

Mrs. Veronica Archer, age 88, of Glen Allen, departed this life on August 4, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick J. Archer Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Maria Kenney, Bridget Archer-Kenney (James), and Kristin Jones(Jon); two sons, Frederick Jr. (Vaness), and Patrick (Shelly) Archer; bonus daughter, Evelyn Saunders; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Gray and Angela Gray; bonus sister, Joanne Harper; four brothers, Vincent, Michael (Barbara), Lynwood and Mark (Gwen) Gray; bonus brother, Berhane Desta (Hannah); one aunt, Adelaide Datcher; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Mary Archer Wilson; other relatives and friends, among them, Frances Pope.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Archer can be viewed on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be held at 12 noon, on Monday, August 17, 2026, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 2712 Second Avenue, where remains will lie in state two hours prior to the funeral time. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:45am on Monday. Interment, Roselawn Memory Gardens.
