Mrs. Wilhelmenia Mattie King, age 93, of Richmond, departed this life on October 23, 2026.She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward King. She is survived by two daughters, Konnetta King and Veranetta King (Roscoe); one aunt, Konnetta Sparks; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. King can be viewed on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 10:30am to 5:30pm. The family will receive friends at 10:00am, on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, followed by funeral services at 11:00am. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Entombment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
