Wilhelmina James

Mrs. Wilhelmina James, age 93, of North Chesterfield, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, departed this life on March 23, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph James, and one daughter, Freida James. She is survived by one daughter, Tracey James; two sons, Martin R. James (Gwinnett), and James Thomas Rogers (Phyllis Gravesande); three grandchildren, Nyree' James, Sean A. James-Felix (Toniesha Walker), and Tempest A. Rogers; two great grandchildren, Corleon A. James-Felix and Aja R. James-Felix; nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in law, Margaret Gregory and Vondra Curtis; one brother-in-law, Thomas Sharpe; other relatives and friends, among them, Glen Forbes. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. James can be viewed on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. The family will receive friends at 10:00am, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614N. Third Street, followed by the funeral services at 11:00am. Rev. Reuben Boyd (Pastor), Officiating. Interment, Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
