Departed this life June 7, 2021 He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Allen; daughter Mary Allen Gilmore(Kalib); two sons, Gilbert Allen(Shirlnita) and William Allen; four grandchildren; one brother; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held 9 AM Tuesday at Church of Christ, 3201 Sandy Lane, Richmond, VA where Mr. Allen will lie in state 1-hour prior to funeral time. Pastor Antoine Hutcheson off. Interment Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
