YaSin "Alan" El~Amin

YaSin "Alan" El-Amin, age 60, of Richmond, departed this life on October 5, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Diane Wind; three stepchildren; five grandchildren; two sisters, Sybil El-Amin Jones (Amos) and Kia El-Amin Williams (Marcus); two brothers, Ahmad El-Amin and Farrhard El-Amin; two aunts, Cynthia Johnson and Jacquelin Kellog (James); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Shirley Wind; other relatives and friends. 

Mr. El-Amin was long time educator at Brookland Middle School. He was also a Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee at Henrico High School. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, 11:00am, at Amazing Grace World Fellowship, 5709 Jessup Road, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Martin Harrison IV, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45am on Saturday.
